Not feeling good
Wow! It’s been a while since I have ran fever the way I did last night and this morning. I am feeling a little bit better now, so we’ll see.
Lord knows I have plenty to do this coming week!

I honestly do not see how stores keep Paul Newman’s Raspberry Walnut Vinagerette on the shelves! This dressing is not good with salads containing grilled chicken, but I can overlook that! Try it, try it, try it.
A very close runner up is Paul Newman’s Ceasar dressing! Wow!
I mentioned spaghetti sauce in the previous post, and don’t bother with Paul Newman spaghetti sauce. This is just not good. Did anyone try it before sending it out to stores? Their dressing is so good, but they totally dropped the ball on the spaghetti sauce!
1 year agoThe best sauce out of a jar is Barilla’s Roasted Garlic. Very tasty. Now, be warned that the rest of the Barilla lineup is not worth your time in my opinion. But the roasted garlic is the best I have had.
1 year agoWell, today Bill Gates stepped away from Microsoft and will no longer work full time at the company. Whether you like M$ as some of my friends call the company or not, Gates and MS played a big role in computing over the years.
I can only imagine what he must have been thinking when he left the office today. You think he thought about when it all started, the good times, the terrible ones, or maybe his family, his friends. Do you think he spoke with Paul Allen today? I wonder if he heard from Jobs?
We just ditched Microsoft’s .NET, but I take my hat off to Mr. Gates. Good job sir.
1 year agoIs your car warranty running out? There are a number of tele-marketers that think mine is. I got 5 calls today from “machines” wanting to sell me a car warranty.
I don’t think there should be a law against tele-marketing, but maybe we should make it a law that machines cannot call us. I get no less than 10 tele-marketers calling me everyday! Some calls are just calling to see if I am at home (when you answer, they just hang up).
I am now using my voip phone settings to try and block these numbers.
Technology can solve this. someone please do it quickly!
1 year agoFor Father’s Day, I went to the driving range at Robert Trent Jones. I was nervous that I would not be able to hit it worth a darn. I was surprised when I actually hit the ball pretty well. This was the first time I hit a golf ball in about 18 months! I re-discovered the best game in the world all over again. It won’t be 18 months before I play again!
I will clean my clubs and bag tomorrow night, just for fun!
1 year agoI put a butt on the Big Green Egg last night at 11:30 PM and took it off the grill 12 hours later. Good, good stuff! The BGE is the best, and I feel like I am getting better and more confident…
For Father’s Day, Angela got me a meat themometer that is wireless. Good stuff because now I don’t have to open the grill to check the temp of meat. Thank you baby!
I plan on doing ribs next. They are much more difficult to cook properly. And speaking of ribs, I was in Kansas City last week and went to eat at a BBQ place named Jack Stack. Oh my! I was very impressed with everything! Ribs were very tender. They weren’t better than Dreamland but different, if that makes sense. Yummy!
1 year agoI am driving a rental because I crashed my Pathfinder. When the rental place told me I would be driving a Mazda, I was not very excited at all, but that all changed when I pulled out of the drive! The Mazda 6 is a really fun car to drive! This one is only a 4 cyclinder, but it has pep and drives very good on the interstate as well. VERY fun to drive. Zoom, Zoom!
I don’t think I will ever buy a Mazda, however I have been pleasantly suprised. Oh, the biggest plus: I got 480 miles on a tank of gas!
