Ty Moore (my son, age 5) missed a perfect game on Wii Bowling by one pin.  He started out with 9 straight strikes and missed perfection by leaving a single pin to start out the 10th frame.  He finished with spare then strike for a 279!

Well, Alabama really had no depth on the offensive line.  Wow!  Congrats to Utah who played very well.

That was my first time to New Orleans and the only thing I can say about the town is that it’s just not clean.  The Superdome was cool.  Katrina devestation is still obvious in parts of the city.  I enjoyed my time there and I wish nothing but the best for the folks in New Orleans.

Poor Texas

Ok, with Oklahoma being put ahead of Texas in the BCS which allows them to play for the Big 12 title, this just shows the major problems with the BCS.  Texas beat Oklahoma.  This should be a no brainer.  Where is Mac Brown in this?

Is his school president asking (telling) him not to say anything?  I’m a Tide fan and it even ticks me off.  How can anyone say this is right?

In memory

Today, a very sweet woman died from complications from cancer.  Her son is a very good friend of mine.  Please keep Nick and Becky Giambroni (and their family) in your prayers.

Alabama moving up, but not there yet.

Well, the state of Alabama is ranked the 28th best state for business by Forbes.  Last year we were 35th.  I really didn’t know where we would fall but I am disappointed that states like Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota were ranked ahead of us.  I don’t have anything against those states but who wants to live in those weather conditions!  Not me.

Alabama has attracted a lot of new industry to in the past few years but there is still a long way to go especially in terms of our biggest city of birmingham.  There are lots of problems there, and don’t even get me started on Jefferson County’s sewer mess.  Bad stuff.

3-2-Won!

Tonight, I watched something on tv that only the Auburn Tigers could do.  They won by a score of 3 - 2.  Yes, I am talking about the Auburn football team!  For my Auburn friends, I hope they get their offense in gear before next week.  If not, we’ll see just how good their defense really is.
